NODS: Inspiration for the development of HSC and Marianne as a person
NODS are:
Notable Others Doing Stuff.
Stuff like: writing, speaking, advocating, unifying, inspiring, challenging, guiding, coaching, role modelng, leading, communicating, fighting for, fighting against — all the causes, beliefs, values, systems, challenging status quo, inviting wonder, emowering presence, and just making life a bit more engaging, fun, and something memorable and meaningful.
It’s the artists, musicians, poets, cooks, content creators, critical thinkers, architects, change-makers, advocates, known and unknown gurus, friction makers, and those who embody the mission, vision and values of this business. PLUS a bit of Marianne added in.
As part of Her Spirit Creates, I want to recognize influencers that embody the spirit of this business, the mission, and the founder (ME!), Marianne Mullen, VT artist.
What makes a HSC influencer?
Belief in change: in other people. In ourselves
Value creation. Whether it’s in the arts, in our families, in society, or in ourselves.
Growth oriented. Something or someone that makes you really think. Think bigger. Think differently. Think forward. Think with intention. Think with dreaming.
Inclusive. Open minded and open hearted. Promoting and living diversity in people, places, thoughts, values, and willing to see both sides (and clear in the values of equity)
This is HSC . Influenced. Influencer.
The philosophy, values, mission. It’s about doing the work…being real…living life fully…being a positive influence of change. And trying to make a difference and living a life of meaning.
These are the influencers that matter to Marianne, and to the spirit of Her Spirit Creats.
Icons. Heroes. A Team’ers and Spirit Squad supporters who have never heard of me, likely, and never will. These influencers are the ones who have impacted my journey. Said hard things to me that made me pause. Made me stop. Think. Say “how did they do that?” “Who is this person/organization/model that I want to know about?” “How have I never met you before?”.
Find these MM and HSC influencers usually leaves me with a sense of gratitude, energy, hope, positive influence, and ready to do something.
The NODS here are to people. Places. Things. Spirits. Intuitions. Realities. and everything in the continuum of life that I have learned from, and continues to inspire action.
This is the spiritual journey of HSC and of Marianne, it’s founder.
